This embroidery design offers a variety of finishing options, from doodle appliqués for the lower wings and three-dimensional detailing of the upper wings to creating a more voluminous body using craft foam. All of these options are optional; the dragonfly can also be used as a simple embroidery design. The dragonfly is created entirely on an embroidery machine in two steps. This package includes two embroidery files in each format, the Cora Design "Quick Introduction to Embroidery" guide, a PDF document for each file detailing the individual stitching steps, and a comprehensive illustrated instruction manual. Depending on the desired finish, you will need: stabilizer (at least 50 g/m²), fabric for embroidery, thread and bobbin thread, a lightweight cotton fabric, organza, silk, chiffon, and, depending on the fabric, possibly water-soluble stabilizer, scissors, and craft foam from a craft store or embroidery supply shop.
