Mini Christmas Embroidery Designs Set with ITH Heart

Small Christmas embroidery designs with a big impact: the Mini Set Weihnachtsfreuden (Christmas Delights) contains four mini designs, a mouse with a red berry, a thread cone with a fir sprig and berries, a robin on a mistletoe and a little fir wreath with a bow. It also includes an ITH heart that you sew completely in the hoop and then stuff with fiberfill.

The minis complement the larger designs of the series perfectly and are ideal for smaller items such as napkins, cards or little corners that could use a decorative touch. Of course, they also combine beautifully with the larger designs.

The in-the-hoop heart is the perfect companion for the mini designs. Use it to decorate gifts, hang it on window or cupboard handles or add it to your Christmas tree as an ornament. Because space in the hoop was tight, I pulled the hanging ribbon through the finished heart afterwards with a thick knitting needle.

Hoop sizes
The four mini designs fit the 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) hoop. The ITH heart measures 64.1 x 102.1 mm (2.52 x 4.02 in) and fits the 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 in) hoop.

Like all my designs, I drew these by hand before my test team stitched them out.

For firm, non-stretch woven fabric of at least 140 g/m² (4.1 oz/yd²), such as cotton or linen, with a sufficiently firm tear-away stabilizer, approx. 50 g/m² (1.5 oz/yd²), used double. My sample is stitched on linen.
