The little raccoon is also trying to make a good impression and peeks charmingly through his wreath. This little raccoon is made using free-standing lace (FSL). Free-standing lace means that the circular lace embroidery will be transparent. Your machine will stitch the lace all by itself. Wonderful for candle holders, gift wrapping, and much more. All you need in addition is a water-soluble stabilizer, such as Madeira Avalon Plus or Soluvlies. Place this in a double layer under your fabric for embroidery and follow the enclosed illustrated instructions during the stitching process. After stitching, the stabilizer dissolves completely by briefly soaking it in lukewarm water, leaving behind a fine, transparent thread that you can beautifully showcase. These angels are also available in a version without free-standing lace.
