Spring is in the air, the first flowers are pushing their way up through the earth, and Easter is just around the corner. It's the perfect time to create little heartwarming gifts with your embroidery machine. Here you'll find some inspiration if you love special, handmade details and enjoy sewing and embroidery.
1. Delicately embroidered basket for the Easter egg hunt
A small fabric basket embroidered with a shy rabbit is ideal for small sweets or homemade jam. It looks particularly pretty on linen or a natural cotton fabric.
To match the bunny, you'll also find a matching mug rug and all sorts of digital stamps in the shop, perfect for card making or simply printing as hang tags , postcards , or stationery . A really great selection.
2. Fragrant lavender sachets with spring motifs
Easy to make and fragrant all year round, as the scent is renewed every time you rub the lavender sachet between your fingers. Embroidered with a charming mouse and daisies, it makes a lovely Easter gift for adults as well. The lavender sachet can be placed in the wardrobe to fill it with a beautiful fragrance and also keep unwanted moths away.
3. Napkins for the Easter table
Sew napkins from fine linen and embroider them with a rabbit , a piglet , and a goose in a daisy wreath. Placed alternately on the plates of the Easter breakfast table, your Easter guests will surely appreciate this small token of appreciation.
4. Handmade ITH keychains
Every Easter guest will be delighted with these little treasures, and there's even space on the back for personalization. Add the recipient's name or a few kind words. A lovely gesture for every recipient. It's best to embroider the keychains on a sturdy fabric. I used 2 mm thick felt here. It doesn't fray at the edges, and the circle won't become oval-shaped due to the thread tension during embroidery. You'll also need a keyring with a 3 cm diameter and, if you like, a small decoration, such as a ribbon. The keychain is made almost entirely on an embroidery machine. Finally, you sew the keychain together with a sewing machine or use a strong fabric glue.
5. Placemats with spring motifs
Simple, solid-colored fabrics can be beautifully enhanced with embroidery. For example, with the dreamy girl with a balloon as a gentle spring motif for spring decorations.
